Equestrian CenterRio Bravo Ranch's Equestrian Center, established in 1975, may be one of the finest facilities for boarding horses anywhere in Kern County. Adjacent to the endless trails of the Sequoia National Forest, Equestrian Center boarders have access to over 9,000 beautiful acres, offering many horse trails that traverse the Kern River, Cottonwood Creek, the Kern Canyon foothills, and our citrus and almond orchards. Offering two spacious barns with nine box stalls each, the Equestrian Center can comfortably board over 90 horses. Our southern barn contains five box stalls with in-and-out paddocks. The Ranch offers 40 individual paddocks‹eight that are doublewide‹and can also provide 12 acres of irrigated pasture, divided into six two-acre blocks, and 40 acres of dry pasture. The paddock and box stall rentals are provided with a twice daily feeding of cubed alfalfa and fresh water with a daily pen cleaning as well. The Equestrian Center offers a full sized arena (400¹x 200¹), a medium sized arena (200¹x 100¹), and two round pens.
